Basel took 3 courses with me: Principles of Data Science, Data Science Programming, and Data Engineering and Analytics. In which, he earned excellent grades. He is smart, very confident in programming, active participant in class discussions. He has excellent written and presentation skills that a pleasure for any teacher to encounter.
Basel built many projects through his undergraduate stage using machine learning such as Song Popularity Prediction Application, Playing Cards Detection, and Search Engine, and all these projects were excellent, and the design of these projects reflect innovation thinking.
Based on his grades, class participation and research skills I would rate Basel's academic performance in my class as an excellent student.
For other activities, Basel showed magnificent communication skills at the College. He is the Director of the ACM Magazine and Technical team leader at the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society as volunteering at the University.
In conclusion, I think Basel will have a bright future, and I am confident that through this internship, he will get more knowledge and take him one step further to his goal.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for more information.
Yours sincerely, Prof. Ibrahim Aljarah — Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department, the King Abdullah School for Information Technology, The University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan.

I met Mr. Bassel Husam Mather back in Spring 2022 when I taught him a course on Cloud Computing for Data Science majors. He is easily among the top 5% students, not only in his class, but also among students I have taught over the years.
Aside from being an over-achiever academically, as illustrated by his school transcripts, I found Mr. Mather to be keen to learn, hard-working, and genuinely invested in not only improving himself, but also helping his colleagues. He participated effectively in class discussions, and did not hesitate to put together a neat video tutorial to help his classmates navigate the course project, without me asking him to do so.
I cannot recommend Mr. Mather enough to the internship post at your prestigious institution. I am positive you will find him competent, cooperative, and willing to accept challenges.
This letter has been issued to Mr. Mather based upon his request, should you need further information, kindly contact me via the information provided in my signature section below.
Kind regards, Dr. Sherenaz Al-Haj Baddar, PhD — Associate Professor of Computer Science, KASIT, The University of Jordan, Amman 11942, Jordan.
